My own guess is that Yosa is likely correct, and Yosi is the scribal error.
Perhaps it isn’t a scribal error but rather someone who like R’ Yosa in the Yerushalmi is Yosa and not Yosi

Only in the Yerushalmi. Am not an expert in the subject but neither may be errors. We have today; Yitzchak, Izik, Itzele, Itche. And many more
